General Description: 40-ish male, about 6’2’’, sunglasses, baseball cap, carrying baseball equipment. Spent the entire pre-game practicing with his son and not talking to anyone. General Neanderthal ex-high school jock living out his shattered sports dreams through his children.
What Happened:
My daughter plays in a tee-ball league for 5 & 6-year-olds. The stated purpose of the league is fun. No score is kept, no outs are called, every player bats each inning. We joined this league to specifically avoid the OSP, and we all signed contracts pledging that we would not be OSPs. On to the game…. First inning, my daughter bats first. The OSP’s son bats second. He hits the ball a mile and rounds first. My daughter runs to second and freezes. Why? Because she’s 5! OSP yells, “Move!” and “Go, go!” to my 5-year-old. He follows this with, “They shouldn’t put a girl in front of him in the lineup.” WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!
